How is this different from Notes?

What is page versioning for?
To edit without fear. Someone changes a procedure and the old version stays readable — which prevents the reflex of duplicating the page "just in case", the source of contradictory copies.
Can the wiki be linked to support?
Yes. A recurring answer becomes a page, and the next ticket points to it. That is what reduces the volume of identical questions.
