What is a group for if the workspace is already shared?
To compartmentalise. A group brings together the people concerned by one subject, with its own chat and forms, without the whole account having access. Useful for a project, a department, or an outside partner.
Can I include people from outside?
Yes, by inviting them to the group only. They see what is shared there and nothing else — safer than granting global access and hoping nobody wanders.
Does the chat replace a team messenger?
Mostly it saves you leaving the tool to discuss a form or document that lives in it. The conversation stays next to what it is about, rather than living elsewhere.
