    If macOS says the app is damaged

    This beta is not notarised by Apple yet. The message does not mean the file is broken: it means the signature is missing. Open Terminal, paste this command, then launch the app again.

    xattr -cr /Applications/Thingsform.app

    You can also right-click the app and choose “Open”: macOS then offers to bypass the check.

    Chrome extension

    The extension is published on the Chrome Web Store: one click to install, and it updates itself. The archive remains available for machines where the store is blocked by company policy.

    Not needed if you use the store: an extension installed this way does not update itself.

    1. 01Sign in at thingsform.com first.
    2. 02Download the archive.
    3. 03Unzip it.
    4. 04Open chrome://extensions, turn on developer mode, then “Load unpacked” and pick the unzipped folder.
