    Inventory

Thingsform Inventory keeps track of what you own and where it is. Stock, equipment, mobile assets: each item carries its record, its position and its history. Thresholds raise an alert, and a field form is enough to update a quantity.

    Frequently asked questions about Inventory

Which modules does Inventory work with?

Inventory connects natively to Maps, Imagine, Forms, Alerts, Automations and CRM. Data flows from one module to the next with no export or integration to set up.

What is the difference between stock and an asset?

Stock is consumed and counted; an asset is an identified object followed over time — a machine, a vehicle, a fire extinguisher. The module handles both, with different needs.

Can I know where an asset is?

Yes, its position attaches to a map or an image-based plan. That is usually what is missing: you know you own the equipment, not where it went.

How am I warned before a stockout?

Through a threshold alert, set item by item. It fires at a level you choose, and can chain on to a restocking task.

    Which plan includes Inventory?

Included from the Business plan. Threshold alerts rely on the Alerts module, available on the Pro plan.
